Bestselling author and Wired Differently keynoter Steve Silberman says the ongoing conversation about vaccines and autism obscures important issues that parents and educators must face. His book, NeuroTribes, resulted from an article he originally wrote for Wired magazine.
Silberman says the focus on environmental factors ignores the fact that autism has been with us for a very long time.
Silberman will present a plenary session on the topic of neurodiversity at the Wired Differently Conference Las Vegas. He will present an additional session during the main conference.
The Wired Differently Conference is coming to Las Vegas and Toronto! Now in its 4th year, this information-packed event showcases a wide array of critical insights and best practices will be shared for reaching and teaching students diagnosed with, or who could be diagnosed with, emotional and behavioral challenges especially in inclusive settings.
