|Bestselling Author Paul Tough has just been added to the Innovative Teaching Strategies speaker roster in Las Vegas. He says that helping students who have been exposed to multiple adverse experiences (ACEs) acquire grit, self-control and optimism is not as simple as teaching them new skills.
Paul Tough’s newest book is Helping Children Succeed: What Works and Why. His previous book, How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character, was translated into 27 languages and spent more than a year on the New York Times Bestseller List.
